Ottawa!

Our layover adventures continue....

This time a bit more glamorous!

We had about 36 hours (to get lost) in Ottawa....

Visiting the Commonwealth...

The waterway canal...

We were able to watch a boat go through the canal... through 6 different locks to get to the Ottawa River.**

Escargot! When in Rome.... or Ottawa.

Apparently, the Chief Justice of Canada is also Mrs. Santa Claus!

**As a side note, the Senior Dunn's have a great story of taking a boat through a similar canal. Make sure to ask them.

Temecula Wine Tasting

Phoebe came to visit!

She liked our forest in the backyard, it was never ending exploring.

Mission: Completed

Before: An outdated, ugly, leaky bathroom complete with mold and smells!

Simon and Tom ripped out the wall, fixed the leak and took care of the mold.

They then got to work tiling....

At one point Tom came out of the work room completely clean... minutes later Simon came out.... not sure if they were working on the same project or just have different work styles.
